In the early hours of the new year, thieves broke into the Museo de Semana Santa (Easter Museum), located in the Iglesia de Santa Maria in Vélez-Málaga.
The thieves entered through the back door, which leads to the old cemetery, and proceded to rob the safe of its contents – some keys and a mobile phone. At this point they triggered the alarm and decided to make their escape.
