There was a large explosion late last night at a relay station for television and mobile phones in Hernani, Guipuzcoa.
The incident occurred at around 01:00 at the remote station in the Santa Bárbara area of Hernani. Due to the time and the isolated nature of the relay station, located in a mountain area with no homes nearby, there were no casualties.
It is thought that the explosion was caused by a bomb and an investigation is underway.
