Work has started on phase two of the improvements to calle Carabeo and will continue until the summer, provided all goes to plan.
The latest area to be remodeled is a short, 120 metre stretch. The works include renovation of service facilities, lighting, drainage and the road surface itself. It will end up similar in appearance to calle Pintada, a single level with bays for loading and unloading.
After this, there are still two more phases to go. The current plan is for completion of the whole project by the end of 2009.
