National Police officers in Jerez have detained two people, a man and a woman, after they allegedly tried to abduct a child at a shopping centre in avenida de Europa.
The incident began at around 13:30 yesterday when staff at the hypermarket alerted the police after two people forcibly took a four year old child from its mother.
The perpetrators of the alleged assault, a 36 year old man, initials P.H.H., and a 19 year old woman, MJ.B.D. were arrested and the child was reunited with its family.
