Six people have been detained in Málaga and Marbella as alleged traffickers in cocaine. The first arrests took place in Málaga city, but more arrests then followed in Marbella as the police investigation progressed.
Police confiscated nearly 4 and a half kilos of cocaine as well as a large quantity of equipment used in the preparation of the drugs.
Five of the detainees are Colombians, the sixth is a Venezuelan national.
