Real keep up pressure on the leaders

football1Two goals in five minutes in the second half were enough to see Real Madrid pick up the three points on their visit to Espanyol.

Guti hammered in a free kick in the 67th minute to give Real the lead and then five minutes later, it was that man Raúl who finished off a great pass from Marcello, placing the ball perfectly in the bottom-left corner of the net.

Real were not at their best, far from it, and for most of the game Espanyol were clearly the better side, but it counted for nothing in the end. It’s goals that matter, and Real managed to score them.
