Relocated at last

Vélez-Málaga Council has finally managed to re-house two families who had been living in prefabricated buildings at the Vivar Téllez football field.

Under the Plan Zapatero, the football field is due for a complete makeover, including the building of changing facilities. The two prefabricated homes, in poor condition, are being dismantled so that the works can begin. The two families have been living in the area for the past two years. The Council has found them rented accommodation and Social Services will cover the rent for the first year.
