The list of projects proposed by Torrox Council under the Plan Zapatero have been published in the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia (BOP) – The Provincial Gazette.
The projects, valued at €2,7 million, include major works to be carried out at Ferrara Playa, renovation of Plaza de la Constitución and reformation of calle Hospital and calle San José.
The Mayor of Torrox, Toñi Claro, has said that local companies have already begun to show an interest in bidding for the various projects. The works are expected to generate 92 jobs in the town.
