Burriana beach now has a small, permanent detachment of Local Police (two officers), their office being next to the current Protección Civil office.
The new mini Police Station will be manned from 11:00 to 19:00 each day. There will also be a mailbox, open 24 hours per day, for the depositing of items found on the beach, the hope being to return these items to their rightful owners.
The inauguration of this new little office took place on Friday and was attended by the Councillor for Police, Andrés Márquez Castro, the Councillor for Beaches, Jonathan Méndez Hermant, and the Chief of the Local Police, Antonio Navas.
