The Steering Committee of the PSOE in Andalucía has declared José Antonio Griñán as candidate to succeed Manuel Chaves as President of the Junta de Andalucía.
This endorses the proposal made by Manuel Chaves which was then unanimously approved by the Regional Executive of the PSOE.
José Antonio Griñán, who has no professional responsibility within the party, thanked everyone for their support and confidence.
