The airline Andalus Líneas Aéreas has begun flights between Gibraltar and Madrid-Barajas.
There are morning and afternoon return flights from Monday to Friday plus one on Saturday morning and one on Sunday afternoon. The flight takes 50 minutes and the cost is €99 return.
The company is using a 50-seat Embraer 145 plane for the route, this being the best suited for the demand for flights.
