The pocket-lining saga continues

As the MP’s expenses row continues, an interesting article in the Telegraph about former Agriculture Minister Elliot Morley, who claimed for a mortgage that didn’t exist.

This was not his only bit of ‘dubious’ dealing it would appear and despite the fact that lawyers say that the claims may constitute a criminal offence under the 2006 Fraud Act and the 1968 Theft Act, Mr Morley is reported as saying:

I do not believe any offence has been committed
