Around 15,000 people gathered in Plaza Cataluña, Barcelona, late last night to celebrate their team’s league championship, and 63 ended up being detained.
At around 03:00, groups of rampaging fans clashed with police who had to resort to using rubber bullets to disperse the crowds. A total of 63 people were detained, four of whom have been charged with criminal damage, public disorder and assault or resisting arrest.
