A 26 year old Dutch national has been arrested in Malgrat de Mar, Barcelona, after allegedly stabbing his partner.
The stabbing took place out on the streets at around 13:00 on Sunday. The woman died shortly after the assault, so severe were her injuries. The man was arrested at the scene and then taken to hospital where his condition is described as ‘serious’. His wounds were self inflicted after the assault.
