I don’t think there will be a third time!
A couple of months ago, popped into a newly opened (or newly changed hands) bar and, although the beer and tapa was as it should be, my first impressions were somewhat blighted by the fact that I was short-changed. Not much, but it’s the principle.
The other day, with one of my regular coffee haunts being temporarily ‘out of action’ while they cleaned the machine, I decided to give this other place a second chance.
Standing at the bar, having ordered my cafe con leche, the owner decided to clear away a couple of glasses in front of me. And promptly knocked one over and gave me an alcohol bath. Great if you were on your way to meet someone, going for a job or off on business somewhere!
Never mind, these things can happen. Then came the final straw. Halfway through the coffee I discovered a UFO – Unidentified Floating Object. Definitely off the list now!
