The two occupants of a Bomberos de la Generalitat helicopter died this afternoon, Monday, after the helicopter crashed in Mollet del Vallès, Barcelona.
The helicopter was carrying water to extinguish a fire in Les Franqueses del Vallès when it crashed near the Institut de Seguretat in Mollet. The co-pilot died in the crash and the pilot was transferred to the Hospital Vall d’Hebron in Barcelona. However, his wounds were so serious that he died a short while later.
