Two more suspected ETA members have been detained in France following a road traffic accident.
The pair, who were armed and traveling in a stolen car, were involved in an accident near Chateau-Gontier in the department of Mayenne. The woman is in a serious condition in hospital.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of two firearms.
At the weekend, the French authorities in Tarn uncovered an ETA hideout in which they discovered three kilos of explosives.
