In the first part of this year, the provincial authorities have issued grants totalling €121,800 to municipalities in the Axarquia for the purchasing of vehicles.
Municipalities to benefit from these grants have been:
- Algarrobo – €17,102 for the purchase of two motorcycles for the Local Police.
- Moclinejo – €20,000 for a dumper truck.
- Sedella – €28,089 for an adapted bus for school transport.
- La Viñuela – €36,609 for an all-terrain vehicle for the Local Police.
In addition, the Mancomunidad de la Costa del Sol-Axarquía received €20,000 for a ‘tourism promotion’ vehicle.
