Later this month, the Nerja Local Police will be reachable via the 112 Emergency Services telephone number following an agreement signed with the Ministry of Interior.
Two other municipalities, Vélez-Málaga and Rincón de la Victoria, have signed similar agreements, a move designed to more quickly address potential emergency situations and to provide a better service.
