The Nerja Council has approved a project which includes the construction of a pavement on the right hand side of the road between calle San Miguel and El Ingenio in Maro.
Phase one of this project, with a budget of €53,000 from provincial funds, covers the stretch from the roundabout by calle San Miguel and calle Nueva. Phase two, with a budget of €115,000, covers the stretch from calle Nueva to El Ingenio and includes renovation to the plaza next to calle San Miguel.
Another project is also currently underway in the area, the renovation of the area between Plaza de Maro and El Ingenio.
