October 15th has been set as the date for the inauguration of the new municipal car park near the Parque Verano Azul.
The mayor, José Alberto Armijo, visited the site yesterday. The car park, with 273 parking spaces, has cost around €3,200,000 and has suffered from endless delays. The project was financed entirely from municipal coffers and had to undergo numerous changes along the way.
The mayor also stated that preliminary work has already begun on the next parking project, an underground facility at Burriana beach, and that a draft proposal has already been written.
