Local Police officers in Vélez-Málaga arrested two men in the early hours of Monday morning who were breaking into cars in the area.
The police were responding to a call reporting that two individuals were spotted breaking into a number of cars at the junction of avenidas Juan Carlos I and Villa de Madrid. When officers arrived on the scene, the two thieves were hiding behind one of the cars, still trying to open it.
The detainees were found to be in possession of a screwdriver, tape and lubricating oil, tools of the trade.
