It is the thrills and spills of Rallyjet at the weekend in Nerja, with two championship races being held in the town.
On Saturday, starting at 11:30, there are two races in the 4th Rallyjet Championship – Copa del Rey, with each race on the 2.5 km circuit lasting approximately 30 minutes and taking place off Burriana beach.
On Sunday it’s the 5th Championship Rallyjet Spain – Offshore, the circuit beginning (and finishing) in Nerja and taking in Nerja, Benajarafe, Catarriján and Puerto de la Caleta, a total distance of 180 kilometres.
The start of this race, which is Le Mans style, is 10:30. All the major Spanish riders will be taking part and the best vantage points will be the Balcon de Europa and Burriana beach.
