It is that time of year again and catering establishments wishing to occupy public thoroughfares with tables and chairs need to be making their applications.
Anyone wishing for a permit for the full year needs to have their application in by December 15th. Those who just want permission for certain periods or seasons have until February 28th to apply.
This applies not only to catering establishments but also to street vendors, those with crafts stalls etc.
In cases where building works prevent businesses from putting out tables and chairs, no charge will be made during such periods.
