Police in Ronda have arrested a 39 year old man, initials J.A.C., in connection with fourteen robberies in the area in the past ten days.
The same man was arrested a few weeks ago in connection with a series of 23 robberies in Ronda. He was released after making a court appearance but it seems he just continued his trade as soon as he was free.
In the early hours of Sunday morning he was detained as he prepared to carry out yet another robbery, this time in calle San Vicente de Pau. He was in possession of the tools of his trade.
Three police officers were injured during the arrest as the thief resisted arrest and tried to escape.
