National Police officers in Ronda have arrested a 39 year old woman after she stole €12,300 and a number of items of jewellery from her own father.
The woman, who has a history of drug problems, apparently told neighbours she was worried about her father’s health and entered the house through a window. Once inside, and knowing where he kept both money and jewellery, she helped herself.
The father called the police after discovering that he had been robbed and the subsequent investigation led to the arrest of his own daughter. As it was an inter-family offence the woman was released after being charged.
