Tragedy in avenida Castilla Perez on Sunday evening after a woman died despite numerous attempts at resuscitation by the paramedics. At 21:30 the paramedics were forced to give up their efforts and the woman was pronounced dead.
Although there is no official confirmation, local sources say that the woman, a native of Madrid but living in Nerja for quite some time, fell from a third floor window. Several people reported seeing someone running away shortly after the incident.
The body apparently showed no signs of violence.
