And still they come

Two boats carrying illegal immigrants were spotted yesterday off Cabo de Gata, one of them being intercepted by the Marine Rescue Service.

After the two boats were sighted, the Marine Rescue vessel ‘Algenib’ managed to intercept one of the vessels with nine passengers on board, all Algerian males. The second boat managed to make it to shore and the Guardia Civil are now searching for the occupants.

The nine Algerians, all in good health, were taken to the port of Almeria for further processing and eventual repatriation.
