The Councillor for Culture, Angélica Portillo, has filed a motion to request the Provincial Delegate of Culture of the Junta de Andalucia to sign an agreement to renovate the roof of the church in Maro.
The Councillor lists the 17th Century church in Maro as part of the cultural heritage of the municipality but the roof is in urgent need of restoration.
Various technical reports and plans have already been made in preparation for such a project.
