The Emergency Services have been kept busy in Málaga with basements, garages and homes being flooded.
Particularly badly hit are Cedro, Paseo de los Tilos, Bolivia and Juan XXIII, 35 litres per square metre of rain falling in just one hour.
In Alhaurín de la Torre, the areas most affected are calles Goleta, Mozart and Galeón.
In Casabermeja, thousands are unable to reach their homes because the river Guadalmina has overflowed. Several people have had to be rescued from their vehicles.
