The body of a woman, missing from a residential home since Thursday, has been found in a pond in the La Alcarrachela area of Écija.
The woman, who suffered from dementia, went missing from the Vitalia residential home on Thursday. Her body was found in a pond on the Huerta de Sesti farm, relatively close to the home.
It is thought that the woman could have become disoriented and fallen in the pond, subsequently suffering hypothermia from which she died.
