Strong winds on Monday evening forced the suspension of high-speed boat services in the Straits of Gibraltar.
Winds of up to 60 kph forced the suspension of high-speed ferry services with Tangier and Ceuta although the normal ferries were able to continue.
Acciona Trasmediterránea, Euroferrys, Buquebús España, Balearia and FRS all had to suspend crossings but it is hoped that normal service can resume this morning. The wind has dropped considerably to be replaced by rain.
