The Council in Rincón de la Victoria has already finalised a list of the first 17 projects to be carried out under the second Fondo Estatal de Inversión Local (FEIL) – more commonly known as the Plan Zapatero.
The 17 projects have a value of €1.2 million out of the €4,015,648 being allocated to the municipality.
One of the major projects is the completion of the Paseo Filipinas in La Cala del Moral. Other projects include a WiFi network, a municipal data processing centre, the installation of TDT via satellite in Benagalbón, improvements to sports facilities, the installation of seating at the La Cala del Moral football ground, the creation of three hiking trails and improvements to the sewage network.
