The former Mayor of Montroy (Valencia), Javier Carrión (PP), and six other people have been arrested on suspicion of city planning violations, trespass and other crimes.
The judge at the Court of First Instance and Instruction Number 1 in Picassent ordered the arrests this morning of the seven indiviaduals, including the former Mayor, Javier Carrión.
Raids were carried out on the Town Hall, seven homes and three businesses as the investigation into alleged corruption continues. The investigation began one year ago.
