Atlético, who earlier in the week qualified for the final of the Copa del Rey, went ahead after just nine minutes with a goal from Forlán. Simao added a second from a free kick before Ibrahimovic pulled one back for the visitors. But one wasn’t enough and now Barcelona are only two points clear of arch-rivals Real Madrid at the top of La Liga.
