Work has resumed on the project to build a park near the entrance to Maro after permission was granted by the Department of Culture.
The project has a budget of €118,000, has a completion period of four months and is being financed through the FEIL (Plan Zapatero).
The park will have recreational areas as well as parking close to the road. The project did actually start a few months ago although it didn’t get very far at that time. The hope now is that it will all be finished ‘by the summer’.
