Ferries between Ceuta and Algeciras have resumed today after bad weather forced the cancellation of many crossings yesterday, including all the high-speed vessels.
Gusting winds of 50 kph and heavy seas forced Acciona Trasmediterránea, Euroferrys, Buquebús España, Balearia and FRS to cancel all crossings between Ceuta and Algeciras and even the port of Ceuta was forced to close down for several hours.
Crossing have resumed today, although the sea remains a little rough and heavy downpours are expected.
