The Council is proposing to ask the provincial Council for the Environment for a grant of €6,000 in order to produce a guide book to the Maro Natural Park.
The guide would contain details of environmental resources ranging from vegetation to the beaches and would be available both to residents and visitors.
The Council believes that many residents as well as visitors to the area are unaware of the attraction of the Natural Park.
