Next Sunday in Periana is the eleventh Día del Aceite Verdial, a gastronomic event expected to attract over 11,000 visitors.
Festivities begin at 10:30 with a typical breakfast for visitors of bread, oil, cod, beans and coffee. During breakfast there will be various musical performances, including one by the municipal band.
At noon it is time for flamenco with ‘Fátima y Moisés Navarro’ followed by the awards for the Olivo Verdial 2010.
