Police in Córdoba have arrested the landlord of a premises where the body of a prostitute was discovered in a pool of blood.
The events unfolded after 60 year old S.C. called a locksmith to unlock the door to an apartment, saying that he had left his keys inside, a not too rare occurrence apparently.
Upon opening the door, the locksmith noticed a pool of blood on the floor and the body of a woman. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the woman who is around 30 years old and is a native of Huelva.
Neighbours report that the accused is single, lives alone and has problems with alcohol. It is also reported that S.C. was frequently seen in the company of the woman and that there were often arguments and fights between the two, the last being a screaming match on Saturday night.
