A planned project to build, amongst other things, 12 VPO (subsidised) houses in the area known as UE22 (behind the sports stadium) will be delayed for a couple of months following a court decision.
The Administrative Division of the TSJA has annulled a planned modification to the PGOU (General Plan) following an administrative appeal made by a company back in 2001.
The court ruling means that the Council must now restart the entire administrative procedure which will lead to a delay of one or two months.
The €1 million contract for the 12 VPO houses has already been awarded to Estructuras y Vías del Sur S. L. and the start of construction was originally scheduled to begin in about one month’s time.
