The Mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, was in Sevilla on Tuesday and reports that the Junta de Andalucia will study the possibility of building a marina in the eastern end of town near the arroyo Frontiles.
The Department of Coasts have rejected the idea of a marina in Vilches near the border with Torrox and so other possibilities are now being explored. Again. The area currently under consideration was apparently also under consideration back in 1991.
