The Council has been studying the fifteen bids for the contract to restore the Eagle Aquaduct and the contract is set to be provisionally awarded next week.
The project has a budget of €747,515 and an extimated completion period of 12 months, although several companies have apparently reduced that period to six months.
During the restoration, the aquaduct will be completely covered with scaffolding so if you want a photo of how it is now then ‘make haste’.
