The Council has approved the terms and conditions for awarding the kiosk concession for Maro beach.
The concession will be for two years, extendable by a maximum of a further two years and either party may terminate the agreement provided they give three months notice.
This year the kiosk will be able to open as soon as the contract is signed and remain open until October 31st. Next year, the opening period would be from the Saturday before Easter up until October 31st. The concessionaire may use the area adjacent to the kiosk for tables and chairs up to a maximum of ten.
The cost of the concession will be a minimum of €6,000.
