San Isidro approacheth and one novelty this year is that the official programme is also a fan as it is invariably a hot day.
Events begin on Friday 14th at 21:30 with a performance by José Cortés up at the Nerja Caves.
At 11:00 on Saturday is a Mass in honour of San Isidro at the Iglesia El Salvador with the choir Peña Nerjeña also in attendance.
The procession will start around midday to arrive at the caves by about 14:30.
At 15:30 there are performances by Plácido and Dúo Compás.
At 18:00 it is time for the awarding of the various prizes relating to the procession.
There is a regular bus service running to and from the caves area, on Friday from 22:00 to 07:00 and on Saturday from 11:00 until 01:00 on Sunday morning.
