Plaza Cavana is tantalisingly close to completion, at last. Looking good. Hope the large flower pots don’t get used as extra or alternative rubbish bins. Even the barrels of the cannons on the Balcon de Europa have been filled with litter!
Wonder if the government plans to demand that the local, provincial and regional authorities make a 1,200 million euro reduction in spending to help reduce the deficit will merely result in the authorities raising local taxes to cover the shortfall of state funding.
And it always seems to be the pensioners, who have made life-long contributions to the system, who get clobbered in any government austerity measures.
