The Unidad Orgánica of the Guardia Civil in Jaén have detained a 24 year old man in Estepona as the alleged perpetrator of crimes against the sexual freedom of minors.
The man, who had fifteen different online identities on various social networks, persuaded a young girl to do various things and then threatened to publish the information over the internet if she didn’t do as he said.
The investigation began when the parents of the girl reported to the police that her daughter was being blackmailed. Police began to trace the individual concerned and eventually located him in Estepona. A raid on the house of the man led to the discovery of a large amount of material relating to the girl.
Police are now trying to establish if the man, 24 year old FJGM, was involved in the blacmailing of any other individuals
