Just twenty-four hours after the Department of Coasts finished the perpetual, and expensive job of replenishing Ferrara Playa in Torrox with fresh sand, high winds have destroyed all the good work.
According to the Mayor of Torrox,Toñi Claros, this reinforces the contention that a permanent solution must be found for the perpetual beach erosion.
This latest loss of sand and beach could impact on the all imortant summer tourist season.
