Work has started on the footpath to La Caleta beach in Maro according to the Councillor for Beaches, Jonathan Méndez. The beach area was repaired a couple of years ago but was subsequently destroyed by storms. There are no plans, however, to provide any services at the beach, the idea being that it remains a ‘natural’ area.
