Monday June 28th sees the start of the Summer Painting School for infants in its new location next to the Sala Mercado in calle San Miguel.
The classes are for children between 4 years and 7 years and take place between 18:00 and 20:00 Monday to Friday. The classes continue throughout the month of July and are free and with no pre-registration necessary for participation.
On September 1st, registration for the Painting School for the academic year 2010-2011 begins and the actual classes begin on October 1st. Apart from a registration fee, the classes are free.
For the summer school, there is no teaching as such, the children being given all the necessary materials to daub away on a basic theme. All the kids need to bring is an apron or an old shirt to prevent the inevitable staining of clothes.
